Julian Katz

For more than 25 years, I've worked with agencies, brands, and creative teams to bring ambitious ideas to life. My career has spanned everything from producing campaigns and building production organizations to helping companies rethink how creative work gets made. I've always enjoyed the challenge of bringing people together around a shared goal and figuring out what it takes to make great work happen.

I've produced award-winning work for brands including Sandy Hook Promise, General Motors, AT&T, Unilever, PepsiCo, and Levi's, and held leadership roles at agencies including BBDO and Mother. Since 2019, I've worked with global technology companies including Meta, Airbnb, and Google, helping shape production strategy, agency partnerships, and new ways of working at scale. Along the way, I've also led initiatives focused on sustainability, supplier diversity, and representation, helping align production practices with broader business and cultural goals.

Much of my work has involved balancing creative ambition with practical realities. Whether leading a large-scale production, building a new team, or helping organizations navigate change, I've found that trust, clear communication, and strong relationships are often the difference between good work and great work.

In 2020, I co-founded Green The Bid, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to helping the commercial production industry adopt more sustainable and regenerative practices. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a global movement and remains one of the accomplishments I'm most proud of.

My work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, the Webbys, and other major creative festivals, and I've served as a juror for organizations including AICP, Ciclope, and The One Show. I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and am based in New York City.
